### sec.234 Direction before commencement not to sell or hire unsafe electrical articles This section applies if, before the commencement, under section 161 (1) of the Electricity Act as in force immediately before the commencement, an authorised person gave a written notice to a person directing the person not to sell or hire an electrical article or type of electrical article. Section 161 has continuing application in relation to the circumstances of the written notice as if the section had not been repealed. (sec.234-ssec.1) This section applies if, before the commencement, under section 161 (1) of the Electricity Act as in force immediately before the commencement, an authorised person gave a written notice to a person directing the person not to sell or hire an electrical article or type of electrical article.
