### sec.209 Charges for services
This section applies if there is no regulation under this Act that prescribes a fee for a service provided by the regulator in the course of the chief executive’s administration of this Act.
The regulator may, by gazette notice, fix a fee for the service.
If there is no regulation prescribing a fee for the service of renewing an electrical licence, of registering, under a regulation, a cathodic protection system or approving, under a regulation, particular electrical equipment, the regulator may fix a fee for the service.
The fee the regulator fixes for a service must not be more than an amount that fairly represents the cost of providing the service.

(sec.209-ssec.2) The regulator may, by gazette notice, fix a fee for the service.
