### sec.138C Persons assisting inspectors
A person, including an interpreter, may accompany the inspector entering a place under section 138 to assist the inspector if the inspector considers the assistance is necessary.
The person—
may do the things at the place and in the way that the inspector reasonably requires to assist the inspector to exercise compliance powers; but
must not do anything that the inspector does not have power to do, except as permitted under a search warrant.
Anything done lawfully by the person is taken for all purposes to have been done by the inspector.

(sec.138C-ssec.1) A person, including an interpreter, may accompany the inspector entering a place under section 138 to assist the inspector if the inspector considers the assistance is necessary.
(sec.138C-ssec.2) The person— may do the things at the place and in the way that the inspector reasonably requires to assist the inspector to exercise compliance powers; but must not do anything that the inspector does not have power to do, except as permitted under a search warrant.
