### sec.137B Inspectors subject to regulator’s directions
An inspector is subject to the regulator’s directions in the exercise of the inspector’s compliance powers.
A direction under subsection (1) may be of a general nature or may relate to a stated matter or stated class of matter.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the regulator must issue directions to inspectors to ensure powers are exercised under this part in a way that minimises any adverse affect on the privacy, confidentiality and security of persons and businesses.
