### sec.137 Functions and powers of inspectors
An inspector has the following functions and powers under this Act—
to provide information and advice about compliance with this Act;
to help in the resolution of electrical safety issues;
to require compliance with this Act through the issuing of notices;
to investigate contraventions of this Act and help in the prosecution of offences.
