### sec.127 Exercise of powers by temporary inspector
The temporary inspector has all the powers in relation to the place, including any person or thing at the place, that an inspector has under this part.
However, the temporary inspector must not exercise a power unless the temporary inspector is directed by an inspector to exercise the power, whether by phone, fax or another form of communication.
In exercising a power, the temporary inspector must—
comply with any conditions the inspector directing the exercise of power attaches to the direction; and
to the greatest practicable extent, show each person affected by the exercise of the power the document evidencing his or her appointment.
Subject to subsections (1) to (3) , the temporary inspector is taken to be an inspector under this Act.

- (a) comply with any conditions the inspector directing the exercise of power attaches to the direction; and
- (b) to the greatest practicable extent, show each person affected by the exercise of the power the document evidencing his or her appointment.
