8A Application of Criminal Code
Part IIAA of the Criminal Code applies to an offence against
sections 175P(2) and (3), 175R(1) and (2), 203C(1), (2) and (3),
203D and 213E.
Note for section 8A
Part IIAA of the Criminal Code states the general principles of criminal
responsibility, establishes general defences, and deals with burden of proof. It
also defines, or elaborates on, certain concepts commonly used in the creation of
offences.

9 Number of MLAs
The Legislative Assembly consists of 25 members.
10 Commission to keep rolls
The Commission must keep a roll for each division.
11 Contents of roll
(1) Each roll must contain the following information for each elector for
the division:
(a) surname;
(b) each given name;
(c) residential address and postal address if not the same as the
residential address;
(d) sex or gender;
(e) occupation;
(f) date of birth;
(g) information prescribed by the Regulations.

(2) A roll may contain the following information for each elector for the
(a) salutation;
(b) any former surname or given name;
(c) any previous address;
(d) information prescribed by the Regulations.
