### sec.538 Repealed Act applies to particular agreements
Subsection (2) applies if—
under section 49C(1) or (2) of the repealed Act, stamp duty is not chargeable on an agreement for or in connection with the transfer of shares or for conveying, transferring or assigning a beneficial interest in property; and
the conveyance, transfer or assignment of the property under the agreement is made on or after the commencement day.
The repealed Act applies to the conveyance, transfer or assignment.
(sec.538-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if— under section 49C(1) or (2) of the repealed Act, stamp duty is not chargeable on an agreement for or in connection with the transfer of shares or for conveying, transferring or assigning a beneficial interest in property; and the conveyance, transfer or assignment of the property under the agreement is made on or after the commencement day.
(sec.538-ssec.2) The repealed Act applies to the conveyance, transfer or assignment.
- (a) under section 49C(1) or (2) of the repealed Act, stamp duty is not chargeable on an agreement for or in connection with the transfer of shares or for conveying, transferring or assigning a beneficial interest in property; and
- (b) the conveyance, transfer or assignment of the property under the agreement is made on or after the commencement day.
