### sec.389 Exemption—vehicle dealer
Vehicle registration duty is not imposed on—
an application to register a vehicle in the name of a vehicle dealer or to transfer a vehicle to a vehicle dealer if the vehicle is acquired as trading stock; or
an application to register a new vehicle in the name of a vehicle dealer if the vehicle is acquired for the dealer’s use as a demonstrator.
- (a) an application to register a vehicle in the name of a vehicle dealer or to transfer a vehicle to a vehicle dealer if the vehicle is acquired as trading stock; or
- (b) an application to register a new vehicle in the name of a vehicle dealer if the vehicle is acquired for the dealer’s use as a demonstrator.
