### sec.276 What is a home refinance mortgage
A home refinance mortgage is a mortgage securing advances to the person, all or part of which are used or to be used to repay the balance outstanding under a previous mortgage over the person’s home.
A home refinance mortgage, or if there is more than 1 home refinance mortgage, at least 1 of them must be over the person’s home.
