### sec.246AK Notification of commissioner for reassessment
This section applies if a notification event happens in relation to a relevant acquirer’s interest in dutiable property under a relevant transaction.
Within 28 days after the notification event happens, the relevant acquirer must—
give notice of the event in the approved form to the commissioner; and
ensure the instruments required for the assessment of duty for the relevant transaction are lodged for a reassessment of duty on the transaction.
Failure to give the notice is an offence under the Administration Act , section 120 .

(sec.246AK-ssec.1) This section applies if a notification event happens in relation to a relevant acquirer’s interest in dutiable property under a relevant transaction.
(sec.246AK-ssec.2) Within 28 days after the notification event happens, the relevant acquirer must— give notice of the event in the approved form to the commissioner; and ensure the instruments required for the assessment of duty for the relevant transaction are lodged for a reassessment of duty on the transaction.
