### sec.28A Monitoring fees— Act , s 110G
For section 110G (1) of the Act , the monitoring fee for the monitoring of activities performed under a relevant authority is provided for in this section and schedule 8E , item 8.
The fee stated in schedule 8E , item 8 may consist of, or include, an amount for part of an hour that is the equivalent of the relevant proportion of the hourly rate, stated in the schedule, worked out using 15-minute periods (wholly or partly completed).
In addition to the monitoring fee stated in schedule 8E , item 8, the holder of the relevant authority must pay—
the fee worked out under subsection (4) for an inspector monitoring the activities to travel between the inspector’s usual place of work and the place where the activities are monitored; and
if, for monitoring the activities, an inspector takes a sample of cannabis for analysis to determine the THC concentration of the sample—the reasonable cost of analysing the sample.
For subsection (3) (a) , the fee must be worked out at the rate stated in schedule 8E , item 8 for the time taken for the travel up to a maximum of 2 hours in a day.

(sec.28A-ssec.3) In addition to the monitoring fee stated in schedule 8E , item 8, the holder of the relevant authority must pay— the fee worked out under subsection (4) for an inspector monitoring the activities to travel between the inspector’s usual place of work and the place where the activities are monitored; and if, for monitoring the activities, an inspector takes a sample of cannabis for analysis to determine the THC concentration of the sample—the reasonable cost of analysing the sample.
(sec.28A-ssec.4) For subsection (3) (a) , the fee must be worked out at the rate stated in schedule 8E , item 8 for the time taken for the travel up to a maximum of 2 hours in a day.
