### sec.81 What happens to cannabis plants and seed if licence suspended
This section applies if the chief executive suspends a licensee’s licence under section 77 or 78 .
While the licence is suspended, the licensee may, despite the suspension—
continue to possess the cannabis plants and seed in the person’s possession on the day the licence is suspended (the suspension day ); and
for cannabis plants in the licensee’s possession on the suspension day—
do anything reasonably necessary to help the plants continue to grow; and
harvest the plants and any seed on the plants; and
supply harvested cannabis seed to a person lawfully entitled to possess them.
Subsection (2) does not authorise the doing of anything other than a thing mentioned in that subsection in relation to cannabis plants and seed in the licensee’s possession on the suspension day.
No compensation is payable by the State because of the suspension.
