### sec.152 Transitional provision for Respect at Work and Other Matters Amendment Act 2024
Amended section 28AA is taken to have always applied in relation to a judge’s performance or exercise of a function or power as a judge.
However, subsection (1) does not apply for the purposes of a proceeding against a judge started before the introduction day.
In this section—
amended section 28AA means section 28AA as amended by the Respect at Work and Other Matters Amendment Act 2024 .
introduction day means the day the Bill for the Respect at Work and Other Matters Amendment Act 2024 was introduced into the Legislative Assembly.
