### sec.49 State plan for disaster management The QDMC must prepare a plan (the State disaster management plan ) for disaster management for the State. The plan must include provision for the following— the group’s strategic policy framework for disaster management for the State; the roles and responsibilities of entities involved in disaster operations and disaster management for the State; the coordination of disaster operations and activities relating to disaster management performed by the entities mentioned in paragraph (b) ; events that are likely to happen in the State; priorities for disaster management for the State; the matters stated in the disaster management guidelines as matters to be included in the plan; other matters about disaster management the group considers appropriate or that are prescribed under a regulation. The plan must be approved by— if the chairperson of the QDMC considers it appropriate to approve the plan—the chairperson; or otherwise—the QDMC.
