### sec.34A Functions of chairperson of local group
The chairperson of a local group has the following functions—
to manage and coordinate the business of the group;
to ensure, as far as practicable, that the group performs its functions;
to report regularly to the relevant district group, and the police commissioner, about the performance by the local group of its functions.
