### sec.21G Functions and powers
The SDM group has the following functions—
to provide timely strategic oversight of, and support for, disaster management and disaster operations for the State;
to consider strategies and policies for managing a disaster and to give advice to the QDMC about implementing the strategies and policies;
other functions given to the group under this Act or another Act;
functions incidental to a function mentioned in paragraph (a) , (b) or (c) .
The SDM group has power to do anything necessary or convenient to be done for the performance of its functions.
