### sec.34 Director of prosecutions references etc. A reference in an Act or document to the office or holder of the office of— director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the office or holder of the office of director of public prosecutions; and acting director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the acting director of public prosecutions; and deputy director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the office or holder of the office of deputy director of public prosecutions. s 34 prev s 34 amd 1985 No. 25 s 7 pres s 34 ins 1994 No. 87 s 3 sch 1 amd 1995 No. 58 s 4 sch 1 - (a) director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the office or holder of the office of director of public prosecutions; and - (b) acting director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the acting director of public prosecutions; and - (c) deputy director of prosecutions is taken to be a reference to the office or holder of the office of deputy director of public prosecutions.
