### sec.32 Administrative and financial control
The chief executive is to be the chief executive within the meaning of the Public Sector Act 2022 for matters of an administrative nature associated with the discharge of the director’s functions and in respect of officers appointed under section 23 .
For the purposes of the Financial Accountability Act 2009 the chief executive shall be the accountable officer in respect of the discharge of the director’s functions.
The director shall do all such things as the chief executive, in the proper performance of the chief executive’s duties as such accountable officer, may require for the purposes of that Act.
