### sec.24B Criminal history checks
The director may ask the commissioner of the police service to give the director a written report about the criminal history of a person employed in, or applying for employment in, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The commissioner must comply with the request.
Subsection (1) applies to the criminal history in the commissioner’s possession or to which the commissioner has access.
In this section—
criminal history , of a person, means the person’s criminal history within the meaning of the Criminal Law (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act 1986 .
