### sec.27 Review—periodic
If the court makes a continuing detention order, it must review the order at the intervals provided for under this section.
The hearing for the first review and all submissions for the hearing must be completed within 2 years after the day the order first had effect.
There must be subsequent annual reviews while the order continues to have effect.
Each annual review must start within 12 months after the completion of the hearing for the last review under this section.
The Attorney-General must make any application that is required to be made to cause the reviews to be carried out.
