### sec.16C Criteria for giving directions A corrective services officer may give a direction under this subdivision or a direction mentioned in section 16 (1) (db) only if the officer reasonably believes the direction is necessary— to ensure the adequate protection of the community; or for the prisoner’s rehabilitation or care or treatment. s 16C ins 2010 No. 34 s 14 amd 2023 No. 17 s 169 - (a) to ensure the adequate protection of the community; or - (b) for the prisoner’s rehabilitation or care or treatment.
