### sec.93ZZK Effect of appeal against conviction
If an appeal is started against the conviction of a person of a qualifying offence or pre-qualifying offence—
an application for a serious drug offender confiscation order may still be made under section 93ZZ ; and
section 93ZZ (3) must be complied with.
However, the court must adjourn the proceeding for the serious drug offender confiscation order until the appeal is decided or otherwise ends.
