### sec.262 Costs If— a person brings, or appears at, a proceeding under this Act, other than under chapter 2 ; and the person is successful in the proceeding; and the court is satisfied that the person was not involved in any way in the commission of the offence to which the proceeding related; the court may order the State to pay all costs incurred by the person in connection with the proceeding or the part of the costs decided by the court. In civil proceedings, the court decides costs and the costs are assessed under the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 . - (a) a person brings, or appears at, a proceeding under this Act, other than under chapter 2 ; and - (b) the person is successful in the proceeding; and - (c) the court is satisfied that the person was not involved in any way in the commission of the offence to which the proceeding related;
