### sec.18 Meaning of proceeds Proceeds , in relation to an activity, includes property and another benefit derived because of the activity— by the person who engaged in the activity; or by another person at the direction or request, directly or indirectly, of the person who engaged in the activity. - (a) by the person who engaged in the activity; or - (b) by another person at the direction or request, directly or indirectly, of the person who engaged in the activity.
