### sec.72 Power to grant leave
The chief executive may, by written order, grant a prisoner—
leave for community service ( community service leave ); or
leave for compassionate reasons ( compassionate leave ); or
leave for educational or vocational activities ( educational leave ); or
leave for medical, dental or optical treatment ( health leave ); or
leave for another purpose the chief executive is satisfied justifies granting the leave.
The chief executive may grant the leave on reasonable conditions stated in the order.
The chief executive may, if the chief executive reasonably considers it necessary, order the prisoner remain in the physical custody of, or be supervised by, a corrective services officer during the leave.
This section applies subject to section 73 and subdivision 3 .

- (e) leave for another purpose the chief executive is satisfied justifies granting the leave.
