### sec.490B Application of amendment Act
Section 13(1A) as inserted by the amendment Act applies to a prisoner with a high security classification—
who is being detained on remand for an offence; and
is not serving a term of imprisonment for another offence; and
regardless of whether the prisoner was admitted for detention before the commencement.
In this section—
amendment Act means the Police Powers and Responsibilities (Motor Vehicle Impoundment) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2013 .
commencement means the commencement of this part.

(sec.490B-ssec.1) Section 13(1A) as inserted by the amendment Act applies to a prisoner with a high security classification— who is being detained on remand for an offence; and is not serving a term of imprisonment for another offence; and regardless of whether the prisoner was admitted for detention before the commencement.
(sec.490B-ssec.2) In this section— amendment Act means the Police Powers and Responsibilities (Motor Vehicle Impoundment) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2013 . commencement means the commencement of this part.

- (b) is not serving a term of imprisonment for another offence; and
- (c) regardless of whether the prisoner was admitted for detention before the commencement.
