### sec.478 Provisions for sch 2
The provisions set out in schedule 2 (the continuing provisions ) continue to apply in relation to matters before the commencement to which they would have applied under the 2000 Act.
For subsection (1), the continuing provisions—
are numbered with the section numbers of the 2000 Act; and
are to be read in the context of the 2000 Act.
A reference in a continuing provision to ‘the commencement of this section’ is a reference to when the section commenced as part of the 2000 Act.
A term used in a continuing provision (for example, ‘post- prison community based release order’) is the term as defined in the 2000 Act.
