### sec.476 Declaration about prisoner for 2000 Act, ch 5, pt 1 It is declared that a person, including a person who was the subject of a post-prison community based release order within the meaning of the 2000 Act, was and always was a prisoner for that Act, chapter 5, part 1 (the relevant provisions ) during the period starting on 1 October 2003 and ending on the commencement of this section, if, during the period, the person was in the custody of the chief executive of the department in which that Act was administered. To remove any doubt, it is declared that a decision made or purportedly made, or an action taken or purportedly taken, in relation to the person under the relevant provisions is, and always has been, as valid as it would have been if the person were a prisoner for the relevant provisions when the decision was made or the action was taken.
