### sec.443 Functions and powers of chief executive
This section applies if—
the chief executive exercised a power under previous section 188 (the previous power ) and the power may be exercised by the chief executive under this Act; and
the previous power, as exercised, continued to have effect immediately before the commencement.
The previous power, as exercised—
continues to have effect; and
is taken to have been exercised under section 263.
(sec.443-ssec.1) This section applies if— the chief executive exercised a power under previous section 188 (the previous power ) and the power may be exercised by the chief executive under this Act; and the previous power, as exercised, continued to have effect immediately before the commencement.
(sec.443-ssec.2) The previous power, as exercised— continues to have effect; and is taken to have been exercised under section 263.
- (a) the chief executive exercised a power under previous section 188 (the previous power ) and the power may be exercised by the chief executive under this Act; and
- (b) the previous power, as exercised, continued to have effect immediately before the commencement.
