### sec.439 Continuation of member’s appointment
A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as a member of an existing regional board mentioned in section 438(1) is taken to be a member of the Central and Northern Queensland Regional Parole Board until the member’s office is vacated under section 236.
A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as a member of an existing regional board mentioned in section 438(2) is taken to be a member of the Southern Queensland Regional Parole Board until the member’s office is vacated under section 236.
A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as the president, or deputy president, of an existing regional board goes out of office as the president, or deputy president, on the commencement and is not entitled to compensation because of the operation of this subsection.
(sec.439-ssec.1) A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as a member of an existing regional board mentioned in section 438(1) is taken to be a member of the Central and Northern Queensland Regional Parole Board until the member’s office is vacated under section 236.
(sec.439-ssec.2) A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as a member of an existing regional board mentioned in section 438(2) is taken to be a member of the Southern Queensland Regional Parole Board until the member’s office is vacated under section 236.
(sec.439-ssec.3) A person who, immediately before the commencement, holds appointment as the president, or deputy president, of an existing regional board goes out of office as the president, or deputy president, on the commencement and is not entitled to compensation because of the operation of this subsection.
