### sec.39A Further requirements and procedures for searches A regulation may prescribe further requirements and procedures relating to the carrying out of a search of a prisoner, including a personal search, body search or search requiring the removal of clothing. Without limiting subsection (1) , further requirements and procedures may be prescribed for— the effective carrying out of the search; or respecting a prisoner’s dignity; or taking into account the special or diverse needs of a prisoner. s 39A ins 2024 No. 25 s 39 (sec.39A-ssec.1) A regulation may prescribe further requirements and procedures relating to the carrying out of a search of a prisoner, including a personal search, body search or search requiring the removal of clothing.
