### sec.307 Prisoner in proper officer of a court’s custody
A person who is required by law to surrender into the custody of a court must do so by surrendering into the custody of the proper officer of the court.
A person who surrenders into the custody of a court is in the custody of the proper officer of the court until—
released on bail; or
discharged from lawful custody; or
otherwise dealt with as the court directs.

(sec.307-ssec.1) A person who is required by law to surrender into the custody of a court must do so by surrendering into the custody of the proper officer of the court.
(sec.307-ssec.2) A person who surrenders into the custody of a court is in the custody of the proper officer of the court until— released on bail; or discharged from lawful custody; or otherwise dealt with as the court directs.
- (a) released on bail; or
- (b) discharged from lawful custody; or
- (c) otherwise dealt with as the court directs.
