### sec.306 Authorising volunteer
The chief executive may, in writing, authorise a person (a volunteer ) to perform—
unpaid work for the welfare of prisoners; or
unpaid supervision of offenders who are subject to community based orders.
A volunteer must comply with any condition stated in the authorisation and with any direction given by the chief executive for the security or good order of the corrective services facility.
A volunteer is entitled to the payment of expenses approved by the chief executive.
(sec.306-ssec.1) The chief executive may, in writing, authorise a person (a volunteer ) to perform— unpaid work for the welfare of prisoners; or unpaid supervision of offenders who are subject to community based orders.
