### sec.28 Carrying on a business
Subject to subsections (2) to (4) , a prisoner who has been sentenced, whether before or after the commencement of this section, to a period of imprisonment must not carry on, or participate in the carrying on of, a business while the prisoner is in a corrective services facility.

Subsections (3) and (4) apply to a person who is carrying on, or participating in the carrying on of, a business when the person is sentenced to a period of imprisonment (the pre-sentence business ).
The person must, within 21 days after being sentenced—
stop carrying on the pre-sentence business; or
stop participating in the carrying on of the pre-sentence business.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply to the person in relation to the pre-sentence business until the end of the 21 days mentioned in subsection (3) .
