### sec.278 Production or display of identity card In exercising a power under this Act in relation to a person, a corrective services officer must— produce the officer’s identity card for the person’s inspection before exercising the power; or have the identity card displayed so it is clearly visible to the person when exercising the power. However, subsection (1) does not apply if it is not practicable, in the circumstances, to comply with the subsection. (sec.278-ssec.1) In exercising a power under this Act in relation to a person, a corrective services officer must— produce the officer’s identity card for the person’s inspection before exercising the power; or have the identity card displayed so it is clearly visible to the person when exercising the power.
