### sec.222 President and deputy president
The president—
must be a former judge of a State court, the High Court or a court constituted under a Commonwealth Act; or
must have qualifications, experience or standing the Governor in Council considers equivalent to an office mentioned in paragraph (a) .
Each deputy president—
must be a former judge of a State court, the High Court or a court constituted under a Commonwealth Act; or
must be a former magistrate; or
must have qualifications, experience or standing the Governor in Council considers equivalent to an office mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b) .
In this section—
magistrate includes a magistrate appointed under the law of another State.

(sec.222-ssec.2) Each deputy president— must be a former judge of a State court, the High Court or a court constituted under a Commonwealth Act; or must be a former magistrate; or must have qualifications, experience or standing the Governor in Council considers equivalent to an office mentioned in paragraph (a) or (b) .
(sec.222-ssec.3) In this section— magistrate includes a magistrate appointed under the law of another State.
