### sec.167 Law enforcement visitor
This section applies if an employee or officer of a law enforcement agency (the law enforcement visitor ) wants to visit a prisoner.
The prisoner may—
refuse to see the law enforcement visitor; or
agree to see the law enforcement visitor, but refuse to answer any of the law enforcement visitor’s questions.
The law enforcement visitor must be allowed to interview the prisoner out of the hearing, but not out of the sight, of a corrective services officer.
(sec.167-ssec.1) This section applies if an employee or officer of a law enforcement agency (the law enforcement visitor ) wants to visit a prisoner.
(sec.167-ssec.2) The prisoner may— refuse to see the law enforcement visitor; or agree to see the law enforcement visitor, but refuse to answer any of the law enforcement visitor’s questions.
(sec.167-ssec.3) The law enforcement visitor must be allowed to interview the prisoner out of the hearing, but not out of the sight, of a corrective services officer.
- (a) refuse to see the law enforcement visitor; or
- (b) agree to see the law enforcement visitor, but refuse to answer any of the law enforcement visitor’s questions.
