### sec.109 Effect of remission on discharge day for cumulative sentence
This section applies if a prisoner is serving a term of imprisonment (the second term ) cumulatively with another term of imprisonment (the first term ).
For working out the prisoner’s discharge day, the second term starts at the end of the first term, taking into account any remission granted under any of the repealed Acts in relation to the first term, including a remission granted after the commencement of this section.
For a remission granted after the commencement, see sections 401 and 402 .
