### sec.197 Continuation of existing coastal plans
Each coastal plan (an existing coastal plan ) made under previous chapter 2, part 2 in force immediately before the day this section commences continues in effect until the day a coastal plan takes effect under section 32(1).
Until the day the coastal plan takes effect, a reference to the coastal plan in a document or the provisions of this Act mentioned in subsection (3) is taken, wherever possible, to be a reference to an existing coastal plan.
For subsection (2), the provisions are sections 68, 75, 150 and 167.
