### sec.175 Continuing effect of permits under Beach Protection Act, section 47
This section applies to a permit given under the Beach Protection Act, section 47(1A), and in force immediately before the commencement of this section.
From the commencement, the permit, and any conditions of the permit, have effect as if the permit were a development approval in the form of a development permit for operational work.
Subsection (2)—
applies despite the repeal of the Beach Protection Act; and
applies only to the extent the work could have been authorised under the Beach Protection Act, section 47(1A); and
has effect only for the period the permit would have had effect if the Beach Protection Act had not been repealed.
