### sec.6A Potential hazard guide—coal seam gas or petroleum
The potential hazard guide in schedule 1A is a list of potential hazards that may be created by coal mining operations in relation to exploring for or producing coal seam gas or petroleum.
The guide is intended to help the site senior executive for a coal mine identify the matters mentioned in subsection (3) for preparing the coal mine’s safety and health management system, including a joint interaction management plan mentioned in division 4 .
For subsection (2) , the matters are the activities, and the impact of the activities, that—
are carried out or proposed to be carried out as part of coal mining operations at the coal mine; and
may affect safe production of coal seam gas or petroleum under an adjacent petroleum lease or overlapping petroleum lease.

(sec.6A-ssec.1) The potential hazard guide in schedule 1A is a list of potential hazards that may be created by coal mining operations in relation to exploring for or producing coal seam gas or petroleum.

- (b) may affect safe production of coal seam gas or petroleum under an adjacent petroleum lease or overlapping petroleum lease.
