### sec.49E CEO must arrange for former worker assessment
The CEO must, as soon as practicable after receiving the request, arrange for a former worker assessment to be carried out by—
an approved supervising doctor; or
an approved examining doctor.
If the former worker assessment is carried out by an approved examining doctor, the CEO must arrange for the assessment to be supervised by an approved supervising doctor.

(sec.49E-ssec.1) The CEO must, as soon as practicable after receiving the request, arrange for a former worker assessment to be carried out by— an approved supervising doctor; or an approved examining doctor.
(sec.49E-ssec.2) If the former worker assessment is carried out by an approved examining doctor, the CEO must arrange for the assessment to be supervised by an approved supervising doctor. s 49E ins 2018 SL No. 102 s 21 amd 2020 SL No. 69 s 24 sch 1
- (a) an approved supervising doctor; or
- (b) an approved examining doctor.
