### sec.363 Barometric pressure
The ventilation officer for an underground mine must ensure the barometric pressure at the surface of the mine is continuously measured and recorded.
The record must be kept at the mine in a location that is easily accessible by each person responsible for inspecting the mine for gas accumulation and the effectiveness of the ventilation system.
Each person appointed under section 60 (8) or (9) of the Act and carrying out an inspection underground must check the record for the barometric pressure trend and the current barometric pressure reading.
