### sec.345 Parts of mine exempted from ventilation requirement The following parts of an underground mine are exempted for sections 343 and 344 — a part sealed off from the rest of the mine workings by a type B, C, or D seal; a goaf area; a place where persons are using self-contained breathing apparatus to carry out work other than normal work, unless the work is associated with a routine operation in outburst prone conditions; an area of the mine in the process of being sealed. s 345 amd 2019 SL No. 250 s 17 ; 2020 SL No. 118 s 18 - (a) a part sealed off from the rest of the mine workings by a type B, C, or D seal; - (b) a goaf area; - (c) a place where persons are using self-contained breathing apparatus to carry out work other than normal work, unless the work is associated with a routine operation in outburst prone conditions; - (d) an area of the mine in the process of being sealed.
