### sec.342 Reports by ventilation officer A ventilation officer for an underground mine must prepare— a ventilation report about the mine ventilation system; and if the ventilation system is changed—a report detailing the system before and after the change. The report must be prepared— for a ventilation report—each month; or for a report mentioned in subsection (1) (b) —as soon as practicable after the change. Each report— must be signed, or countersigned, by— the underground mine manager for the mine; or the person responsible for the control and management of underground activities when the manager is not in attendance at the mine; and is prescribed for section 68 of the Act as a matter that must be included in the mine record for the mine.
