### sec.256 Belt conveyors
The site senior executive for an underground mine must ensure each belt conveyor used at the mine has the following features—
an emergency stop system capable of being activated from any point along the length of the conveyor where persons have access;
certified fire resistant and antistatic conveyor belting and drum lagging.
