### sec.136 Engine shutdown and fire suppression
A surface mine’s safety and health management system must provide for—
each manually operated earthmoving machine used on a stockpile or coal waste dump at the mine to be fitted with an automatic fire suppression system; and
the machine’s engine to be capable of being stopped, independently of the operator, if a risk assessment indicates the machine may become buried.
