### sec.309 Ventilation officers holding office when transitional period ends This section applies to a person who, when the transitional period ends, is appointed as the ventilation officer, or acting ventilation officer, for an underground mine. The person’s appointment ends immediately after the transitional period ends unless the person holds a ventilation officer’s certificate of competency.
