### sec.220 Definitions for pt 13 In this part— coal mine operator does not include the coal mine operator of a mine at which no person is employed and no work is being undertaken by a contractor. mine does not include a mine— that has been abandoned; or at which no person is employed and no work is being undertaken by a contractor; or if it consists only of exploration activities under— an exploration permit; or a mineral development licence where the size of the excavation is less than 50 cubic metres. - (a) that has been abandoned; or - (b) at which no person is employed and no work is being undertaken by a contractor; or - (c) if it consists only of exploration activities under— (i) an exploration permit; or (ii) a mineral development licence where the size of the excavation is less than 50 cubic metres. - (i) an exploration permit; or - (ii) a mineral development licence where the size of the excavation is less than 50 cubic metres. - (i) an exploration permit; or - (ii) a mineral development licence where the size of the excavation is less than 50 cubic metres.
